Respect ! Favorite track: Son of the Morning (Year 3).

Carsten Pieper Hard to believe, that this is (almost) a trio production. It's sounding many-more headed! It's also hard to categorize (see the many tags given!). I'd say, the base is a pleasant pop/rock melange but with many tasty ingredients and often a spacey touch. And most important, good songwriting! Favorite track: I, the Lonely Island (Year 4).

muschiosauro A bold, unique, imaginative, surprising concept which is as much grand and sumptuous as it is tight and focused. The album sets to music a few scenes from the Medieval Apocalypse Tapestry, following a path that gradually morphs from prog rock to indie/art rock, while steadily progressing from its somewhat tormented and twisted beginnings to an opulent, joyful and hymnlike ending. Potent, thought provoking and brilliant. Favorite track: Who Am I? (Year 2).

[Boy's Perspective] Don’t mind me, I’m just passing through with nowhere to go. Oh no, I can feel you behind me, in front of; you’re all around me. All around. Where are you? Are you here on this desolate Earth? Where am I? Am I lost in search for self worth? I need a translation, I cannot recognize or begin to understand. Eyes see sounds, ears hear the light that’s dimly lit upon your deafening hand. Who are you? Are you what makes me significant? Who am I? Am I? But I’m not of innocence. That’s when he sinks his teeth into me. Gravity is pulling me down by the knees; locked in fear, and by a brace. Focusing on the trees, I kick and scream, reaching for space. Who are you? Are you? You are. Who am I? Am I? I am.
3.
[Beast's Perspective] Imprisoned underground by the one who makes you proud; deceiver, deceiver. I am truly alone; sorrows make my bones. You know you're lost inside this hateful melody; sing with me! La, la, la, la, la, la, la! Choke on these words; I rule the dirt beneath your feet. A dying breed, but that’s soon to change. I pull your veins now that the world is on its knees. My slaves and I will play your strings and put you in a deep sleep, grinding your teeth. It's like you’ve woken from a dream; my fantasy’s reality. Oh my God, why don't you deliver me? (La, la, la, la, la, la, la!) I will not fight it. (La, la, la, la, la, la, la!) Oh my God, this melody sounds so sweet; (La, la, la, la, la, la, la!) I cannot fight it! (La, la, la, la, la, la, la!) It's been three years, and you are still under my arm. It's been three years, and you still know my name. We followed your bones, mummified your circuitry; you’re still tangled in my teeth, I’m tearing up your flesh. Your soul’s dying; a lack of life. You’re too weak to give a fight. I will devour you. No, I’m getting out, getting out. No one's gonna hear you shout. I'm getting out. No one will hear you. No, no, no, I’m getting out, getting out! No one's gonna hear you shout! No one, No one, No one! Oh my souls, rejoice, rejoice, rejoice to the Son of the Morning! (Oh my God why don't you deliver me? I will not fight it.) Souls, rejoice, rejoice, rejoice to the Son of the Morning! (Oh my God why don't you deliver me? I cannot fight it.) La, la, la, la, la, la, la!

[Boy's Perspective] Not expecting the expected, they fell to the machine with only a faint whisper. “They have no voice,” cried I, I, the lonely island. And I became oh, but a drifter. For once, I was a flame on fire for you; the beast just looked as appealing, just not as soon. It pulled me under. I was swoon. I am now but a drifter. We are now one, no more sun. The modest beast sings to me, "La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la." The modest beast sings to me, "La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la." La, la, la! La, la, la! La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la! The past three years of this tribulation, I've been in a constant struggle, smothering myself with questioning the answer you gave me. So here, I wholly submit; knees pressed in the ash. I think... No, no, no... I know I am now ready to let my guard down for you to break through this wall. The beast will try to swindle me, but I will flee despite his beauty. All in all... My eyes have been shut, when thought to be opened. Now I see the truth; your brand. Slaves sing, “Dominus, dominus, oh quam vos es eligantimus.” The beast says, “You look tired, let me sing you to sleep... to sleep... sleep...” La, la, la! La, la, la! La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la! The modest beast sings to me, "La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la." The modest beast sings to me, "La, la, la." Sing them to sleep.

[Bird's Perspective] The street lights look like candles from where I am perched on this ledge. I am a flightless bird. The city's ash; the moon's stained red. They beg, they bribe, and they plead, “Good God, just take the life out of me!” Death is in high demand. They hear, but cannot seem to listen. Lua pulls the tide out from the surf to the sea. Sun sets for sunrise ex terra. My son who’s brother was next; old soul, new eyes, now locked on my nest. Life is in black in white; the living colors of the night. Speak but yet do so in code. Speak up. Pulsing and I see and ode. The stars sing to me at night, “Master when is the fight?” When will the trees meet Zion? Where we dwell in peace. Arms reach for the skies. Roots hold them down; first, they must die. Death is love. Sing with me! Ah, ah! Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah! Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah! My reign has been put on pause. Five years later, they still see through straws. We seek what we find, but we don’t find what we seek. In three years, we will fly in, blow horns and sings sounds, draw swords and tear limbs; soar through the clouds, thinking out loud. Ah, ah! Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah! Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah!

[Boy's Perspective] La, la, la, la, la, la! La, la, la, la! My lungs, now covered in dust, can only breathe when you breathe through me. Take a breath. Scream! “Set me free!” The battles within myself, imprisoned below this hollowed bone skin. When lost, I search underground, subconsciously fixed on ideals of men. It's excuses that make two wrongs a right, when the truth is, the record repeats in mind. Why do days bleed together? Fear's in my blood, some ash on the feather; It is a sign, my son (metaphorically speaking of course). Shine your light in the darkness, like the white dwarfs that outshine the living stars that breathe, but are choking, so they fall to the ground. Now I’m focusing on the skyline; it cracks open, now I see the light! The record has broken. The record has broken in half. Deceiver, you thought you had a stronghold on me, but I was set free by a flightless bird whose voice was lost once on Earth, hiding His face for all the world to hide or seek, but inevitably find love in Earth, wind, fire and seas; the stars in the skies, the cities underneath. And if we just stop to listen in silence for divine melodies, I think you’ll come to realize that his grace; it sets us free. Set them free. Hallelujah!
